How Much is the Matrix?

Jon Gales:

If you live near a Best Buy and don’t have the Matrix DVD (the first one) go get it. It’s just $11.99 which is a steal, but inside is a coupon for a ticket to the Matrix Reloaded (a value of anywhere between $5-$12 depending on where you live) and a coupon for $5 off the Animatrix DVD when it comes out this June.

Alright, I’ve lost my last (er, only…) excuse not to buy The Matrix. Must take the blue pill… or is it the red pill… Damn. Guess I’ll have to watch the movie after I buy it so I can remember.

That is, in addition to watching it before going to see The Matrix: Reloaded

Oh yeah, the Best Buy ad says there’s also a $3 off the Enter the Matrix video game.

About the game–I assume it will be PC only. I guess I’m just used to not having games :P.

I haven’t heard anything about a Mac version, so I assume a port’s not being done. However, there are PS2, Gamecube, and XBox versions, so I assume the coupon is good for those.

I picked up The Matrix last night, but promptly passed out after dinner, so I haven’t had a chance to open it and confirm what’s inside.
